Very Rare 1929 COCA-COLA Square Embossed TURKEYS CUERO, TX, 6 oz. 7 3/4 tall aqua glass machine made crown top soda bottle, known as a Square Coca Cola Soda Water bottle. Square in the middle, 6 shoulder panels and round at the bottom.

Has a picture of a turkey gobbler on each of the 4 flat panels. Embossed SODA WATER PROPERTY OF COCA-COLA BOTTLING CO. On front and back with 6 stars on shoulders. G27 on heel, representing maker Graham Glass Co. CUERO, TEXAS embossed on base.

Cuero is a small town in central Texas that began a celebration called Turkey Trot from 1912 to 1972. It resumed in 1973 as a Turkey Fest. They now compete with Worthington, MN, to lay claim to Turkey Capital of the World. Condition: I haven't cleaned it so it may clean up better (dirty inside).

Also it has a blemish at bottom (can't feel any chip) and usual condition of old glass; otherwise good condition.
