AMBER TENNESSEE COCA COLA BOTTLE-S/S Trenton-Horse Shoe Arrow-Rare! Offered is a selection consisting of one vintage Tennessee Straight Side Amber Coca Cola bottle dating between 1910 and 1915. The bottle is early Automatic Bottle Machine manufacture style with a crown top finish(ABM). 1--A nice looking, 8 1/8" tall, 2 1/2" diameter, beautiful darker honey amber color small town Tennessee Coca Cola bottle, one of a handful of towns that produced the embossed curved arrow.
Embossed on both sides is the distinct arrow, with Coca-Cola embossed in script inside it, base is embossed Registered - Coca Cola Bottling Works / Trenton, Tenn. Base embossed "Coca Cola" in script and "72OLS". The bottle is overall sparking mint, with the following issues, first being a 1/2" by 3/8" bruise on right shoulder on the "Trenton" side, an open bubble that takes out most of the "D" in "Registered", and a deep 1/2" scratch over the "C" in the block letter base embossed "Coca. Very tiny amounts of wear on some of the letters. White highlighting added at some time in the past, could be easily removed. (amber and aqua), Jonesboro, Ark. (small shoulder round arrow, two variants, pointed both left and right) and this one, which is by far the rarest. The color is much richer than shown on a recent cloudy day and passes light easily.This has been in my collection for many years, I'm thinning things down to focus on other obligations.
